Lovely website. Full of great information. The title and incidental music to RWAC was forever in my heart from the first time I heard it. That was on a musical quiz show where an excerpt of the music was played. No-one identified it. But I was hooked on the music. The movie showed and I was just a kid without much money, so I couldn't buy the sound track, which I think came out with Mr. Rosenman's other scores.
The 50s was a absolutely great time for movie music. So we have to praise the studios for their astuteness. My other favorite 50's movie score is "Picnic." Both films came out in 1955. So it was a very good year, as Frankie would say. :)
As to what I do, I write for a monthly magazine and make movies for cable. I'm working on a novel. The creative gods have been generous to me in that I can make movies and write stories. But succe$$ with the dollar signs is hard to come by. Maybe it's enough to be able to do it.
Best Wishes to You!
Great post tthanks
